The Osler

Named for renowned physician William Osler, one of the fathers of modern medicine and a founder of Johns Hopkins University, The Osler apartments are ideally located next to the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital. Dr Osler is considered to be one of the most influential physicians in history, and was widely regarded as one of the greatest diagnosticians to wield a stethoscope. His work in establishing a standardized education for physicians and creating the first residency program for doctors in training helped usher in a new age of modern medicine.

The Osler Apartments are located very close to the UF Health Shands Hospital and Cancer Center, one of the premier research hospitals in the United States and the highest-rated hospital in all of Florida. Shands has become one of the major medical hubs for the southern United States, and as such has tremendous pull to the area.
